Cleveland native Chef and Artist Seth Treanor is a self-taught Chef with a passionate approach to cooking and a creative eye in exploring flavor profiles within a dish or recipe.
Over the years, he has experienced various styles, cuisines, and approaches to cooking. Through this exploration and saturation of different techniques and viewpoints, Seth has developed a wide-lensed view on how to execute culinary approaches.
Outside of the culinary world, Seth is also an artist. This creative background has led to him thinking outside of the box in terms of pairing, plating, and flavor composition. Looking at flavor in the same way as you would a color wheel, his approach of pairing both complimentary and analogous flavors allows for the creation of dynamic dishes and flavor profiles.
At Swirl, Seth has had the opportunity to further explore the world of wine and how it relates to food. Through wine dinners, exposure to new wines, and a new avenue in which to creatively explore flavor with these pairings, he has been able to further push his capabilities and understanding.
Seth also takes every possible opportunity to go out and communicate with the guests. This allows him to both ensure the experience is top notch and receive an honest critique on how the food is received by the guest.
